WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Lead/Senior Structural Engineer (P.E. or S.E. license and 10yrs. experience required)

We are seeking highly experienced engineers with both residential and commercial expertise to serve clients directly or in coordination with other staff or field technicians. This role also involves some project management, especially for large and/or complex jobs, and contributing to business compliance and development as needed. Engineers who are given the Lead/Senior designation will receive a higher pay rate. Work can be fully remote and/or in the field.

Structural Engineer (P.E. or S.E. license required)

This is for licensed professionals capable of providing various residential and commercial structural engineering services to include inspections, analysis, consulting, designing, plan reviews, etc. You’ll work independently or collaboratively depending on project scope. You can choose to work in the field or remotely, but preference will be given to those who elect to do both.

Structural Specialist (EIT Certification required)

If you are an EIT-certified professional who is on track for licensure in Georgia, you could be a fit. In this position, you’ll visit properties to collect data for licensed engineers to utilize in rendering various services. You will also offer full structural inspections and some engineering deliverables independently or under the direction of a licensed PE. This job is mainly field-based with remote opportunities and offers a path to part- or full-time work as a Structural Engineer upon becoming licensed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS or MS in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)

• Georgia P.E. or S.E. license or EIT certification

• PE/SE licensing in multiple states is desired

• Familiarity with ANSI, ASCE, ACI, AISC, and IBC standards

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit Structure, RAM, RISA, and Excel

• Ownership or ability to acquire inspection equipment, tools, safety gear, devices, etc.

• Comfortable with mobile devices, cameras, and cloud-based platforms

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

• Detail-oriented, organized, and punctual

• Reliable vehicle and satisfactory background check (required for field-based work only)

• Either of the following is a plus:

  • ICC Certifications (B5, C5, C8, or 64)

  • Supra eKey affiliate access

  • Ability to obtain drone imagery (Remote Pilot Certificate required)

  • Infrared camera for thermographic building diagnostics

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct structural evaluations of residential and commercial buildings, either onsite or through remote analysis of field-collected data

• Document findings in well-written, informative reports, letters, and certifications

• Consult on structural issues, code compliance, repair recommendations, and design considerations

• Support a variety of structural engineering services based on client needs and your preferred work mode (field, remote, or hybrid)

• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure smooth service delivery and high-quality outcomes

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Contract / Part-time or Full-time based on demand

• Flexible field and/or remote work scheduled around your availability and travel radius

• Hourly ($50-100), commission or flat-rate pay is determined by job type, credentials, and level of experience
